The Syracuse women's basketball team is ranked No. 20 in the final Associated Press Poll of the season, announced Monday following Sunday's national championship. Syracuse moved up two spots in the final poll after going 1-1 in the NCAA Tournament.Â
The Orange finished the season 24-8 overall and peaked as high as No. 17 in the AP Poll during Felisha Legette-Jack's second season at the helm. The ACC Coach of the Year guided Syracuse to one of its best seasons in program history in just her second season tying program records in regular season wins (23), conference wins (13), and ACC road wins (6). The Orange defeated four top-15 teams and completed the first sweep of Notre Dame in program history defeating the Irish in both regular season matchups including a 14-point road win over #15 Notre Dame to earn the first ever win in South Bend for 'Cuse.Â

The Orange defeated 11-seed Arizona, 74-69, before a second round loss to 3-seed UConn, 72-64, ended the historic season for 'Cuse.Â
