Fifteen members of the Orange earned All-ACC Academic distinction for the outdoor track and field season.
Nine men and six women earned the accolade, which requires a student-athlete maintain a 3.0 or better cumulative GPA, have a 3.0 or better for the spring semester and have competed in either the ACC or NCAA Championship this season.
The Orange men had Connor Ackley (Mechanical Engineering), Alex Comerford (Information Systems), Silas Derfel (Exercise Science), Emanuel Joseph (Economics), Perry Mackinnon (Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises), Paul O'Donnell (Finance), Xayvion Perkins (Broadcast and Digital Journalism / Political Science), Ruben Rojas-Betanzos (Bioengineering) and Ethan Wechsler (Political Science) honored.
The 'Cuse women were represented by Kaleia Arrington (Graphic Design), Olivia Joly (Biotechnology), Ellie Lawler (Engineering Management), Madison Neuner (Magazine, News and Digital Journalism), Siobhan O'Keefe (Public Administration) and Bethany Steiner (Health and Exercise Science).
The ACC Honor Roll – which honors all student-athletes who achieved over a 3.0 GPA regardless of competition requirements for all sports – will be announced next month. Â
