Friday's match will be played at the Parc des Princes in Paris. It will also be live on USA Network, Telemundo and Peacock.
The U.S. finished second in Group A, three points behind group-winner France. After opening the games with a 3-0 loss to the host country, the Americans bounced back with back-to-back wins over New Zealand (4-1) and Guinea (3-0) to advance to the knockout round for the first time since the country's fourth-place finish in 2000, and for just the second time since the current tournament format was introduced in 1960.
Robinson, who shined for Syracuse throughout the 2015 and 2016 seasons before signing a Generation adidas contract following his sophomore campaign, started and played all 90 minutes on the backline for the United States in each of their three pool play competitions.
The Olympic Men's Soccer team is restricted to players under the age of 23, with an allowance for three overage players, which includes Robinson, who currently has 29 international caps.
