SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse men's soccer forward Daniel Burko was named ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon. The senior is coming off a breakout week for 'Cuse, netting goals in back-to-back games against Canisius (Sept. 17) and Louisville (Sept. 20).
Burko's big week kicked off in Syracuse's 5-1 victory over Canisius last Tuesday, as in the game's 38th minute, the Lovenstad, Norway, native perfectly placed a shot into the bottom right corner of the goal to extend the Orange's lead to 3-0.
