The East-West Shrine Bowl on Thursday kicks off a busy week of all-star games for NFL bound Syracuse players.
The longest running collegiate all-star game, the East-West Shrine Bowl will kickoff at 8 p.m. eastern on NFL Network from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Kyle McCord, Fadil Diggs, Jackson Meeks, Oronde Gadsden II and Alijah Clark have been showing out at practices this week, with each being noted as standouts by national draft analysts at various points.
It's the second of three all-star showcases that Syracuse players are participating in. Marlowe Wax had an interception in the Hula Bowl earlier this month. LeQuint Allen Jr. and Justin Barron are set to compete in the Senior Bowl next week, and have already started Senior Bowl events.
The eight all-star game participants is the most this century for Syracuse, setting up for what should be the largest Orange draft class in recent memory.
