ITHACA, N.Y. – The Orange men's soccer team is prepped to face Central New York foe, Cornell on Tuesday Oct. 21. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Berman Field and will be streamed on ESPN+

'Cuse Update
 The Orange come off a 4-2 loss on the road against Pittsburgh on Oct. 18.
Sophomore Chimere Omeze struck first for the Orange in the 15th minute. Ernest Mensah Jr. took the corner kick, finding Kristjan Fortier who snuck it over to Omeze. Senior Michael Acquah scored his first goal this season. Landon Darko was credited with the assist in the 50th minute.
Graduate Student goalkeeper Tomas Hut made six saves, as well as collecting his seventh shutout of the season- the fourth in a row.
The Orange now hold a 3-2-0 record on the road and a 6-5-2(3-3-0) record overall and stand in 8th place in the conference.

Scouting the Big Red
Cornell comes off a 2-1 win over Penn on Saturday Oct. 18 to improve its record to 9-2-1 this season.
Big Red goalkeeper Ryan Friedberg collected two saves against the Quakers. The senior now has 25 saves on the season. Scoring for the Big Red against Penn was Connor Miller in the 61st minute and Kasper Wollstein in the 83rd minute. No assists were credited on the goals.
Senior midfielder Westin Carnevale leads Cornell with 12 points this season with five goals and two assists.
In 2024, Cornell finished its season with a 13-4-2 record and in second place in the Ivy League with a 5-2 record. The Big Red's season ended in the second round of the NCAA Championship after a 1-0 loss to Pittsburgh.
