Syracuse wraps up its regular season road schedule with a trip to Clemson on Tuesday afternoon, looking to avenge an earlier loss to the Tigers and close out the season on a positive note.
CLOSING OUT THE ROAD SLATE
Syracuse is in Clemson after spending five days on the road. The Orange have covered over 2,000 miles during this stretch, traveling from Syracuse to Pittsburgh, Dallas, and now Clemson.
Syracuse is 4-7 in road matches this season, including ACC wins over Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, and Boston College. The Orange have a chance to match their program-best seven ACC wins under Head Coach Bakeer Ganesharatnam, set in 2022. Syracuse will need to win both of their remaining matches to reach the mark, starting with Clemson on Tuesday.
EVERYONE EATS
Syracuse has navigated injuries throughout the season, requiring contributions from the entire roster. Against SMU and Pitt, the Orange deployed 13 members of the roster. Six different players recorded a kill, 10 recorded a dig, and seven recorded blocks.
DEFENSIVE INTENSITY
Syracuse has held opponents to a .216 hitting percentage this season, ranking in the top 10 of the ACC. The Orange held SMU to a .296 hitting percentage last weekend, the first time the Mustangs were held below .300 since October 31.
Syracuse has held opponents under .200 in 12 matches this season, including four matches under .100. The defense averages 14.38 digs per set, the fourth-highest mark in the ACC. Rana Yamada leads the team with 354 digs, averaging 3.40 digs per set. Clemson got the best of the Orange defense in the previous meeting, swinging .286 in the last meeting.
CAPTAINS LEADING THE CHARGE

The duo was held in check this past weekend and will look to return to form against the Tigers.
OFFENSIVE WEAPONS
Skylar George ranks second on the team with 285 kills and leads Syracuse with 29 service aces. George has posted 11 double-digit kill performances in ACC play.
Sydnie Waller has doubled her kill total from last season, posting 148 kills in 2025. Waller recorded a season-high 15 kills on a .538 hitting percentage against NC State.Â
SCOUTING CLEMSON
