Syracuse women's basketball (10-17, 4-12 ACC) returns home to the JMA Wireless Dome for a matchup against Pittsburgh (12-17, 4-12 ACC) on Thursday, Feb. 27. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. and will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra with Andrew Selover and Hudson Ridley on the call. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
SU returns to the Dome after taking on #11 Duke in its final regular season road game over the weekend. Led in scoring by Georgia Woolley (14 pts) and Sophie Burrows (13 pts, 8 reb), impressive performances were seen off the bench by Keira Scott (6 pts) and Shy Hawkins (5 pts, 3 reb). Despite a strong four quarter, the Orange were unable to overcome the first half deficit losing, 80-49, to the Blue Devils.Â
Pittsburgh heads to the Dome following a victory against Clemson, 72-59, at home. The victory came after a string of losses to #2 Notre Dame, Virginia, and Florida State heading into the clash with the Tigers.Â
The Orange are 53-19 against Pittsburgh all-time and have won 26-straight games against the Panthers. Pitt and SU last met in February 2024, when Pittsburgh traveled to The 315 during the regular season. 'Cuse took a Dome victory, 63-53, with Dyaisha Fair leading the way with 23 points. That late February win over the Panthers earned the Orange their first 13-win ACC season since the 2015-2016, while tying the program record for regular season wins at 23.
Tickets for all remaining home games can be purchased on Cuse.com/tickets or by calling the JMA Wireless Dome Box Office at 888-DOME-TIX.
