Track Competes at Harvard and Utica this Weekend

The Orange track and field teams will compete in a pair of events this weekend, first heading back to Boston for the second-straight weekend, to compete in the Harvard Crimson Elite on Friday. Other members of the squads will stay local, heading to Utica for the Blue and Orange Invitational
Harvard Crimson Elite
Date: Friday, Feb. 7
Time: 5 p.m.

In Boston, Kitana Burgard and Peyton Rollins will race in the 60-meter dash at 5:10 p.m. on Friday, followed by James Nmah for the men at 5:25 p.m. The finals of that event will come at 6:25 (women) and 6:30 (men) if 'Cuse sees its competitors advance.
At 5:40 p.m., Emanuel Joseph, David Peters and Isaiah Lewis compete in the 60-meter hurdles. They'll be followed 15 minutes later by Taleea Buxton in the women's field. Â The women's final will be at 6:35 p.m., followed immediately by the men's final, should the Orange qualify.
Shayla Ford will compete in the 400-meter dash at 6:45 p.m., before Xayvion Perkins takes to the track at 7 p.m. in the same event.
Utica Blue & Orange Invite
Date: Saturday, Feb. 8
Time: Noon

In Utica, Isaiah Hayes will kick things off at Noon in the 60-meter hurdles. Marissa Saunders, Madison Ceasar and Kirstyn Schechter will race in the women's event immediately after.
Olivia Garner and Ceasar will be up next in the 60-meter dash. Garner will also run the 200 later in the meet.
The women's mile features a deep field of eight competitors. Caroline Kirby, Sarah Cobb, Lucy Zombek, Madeline Lutz, Kayla Harding, Lauren Augustyn, Lizzie Bigelow and Leah Futey will all compete.
Mia Hernandez will represent SU in the women's 400. Blake Parker, Emily Rutkowski and Maya Dubrovsky will then compete in the 800.
