OPENING DRIVE
• Syracuse plays its second-straight home game when it hosts Colgate on Friday night in the JMA Wireless Dome.
• The game will air on ACC Network, with Doug Sherman '88 (PxP) and Forrest Conoly (analyst) on the call. It marks the second-straight week that the Orange have had an alum as part of the television broadcast crew.
• Friday's game is First Responders/Healthcare Appreciation Day in the JMA Dome.

• The NYE Auto Quad Walk will take place at 4:45 p.m. Fans are encouraged to beat the team there and be in place in advance of the walk to cheer the team on during their walk into the Dome.
• Make sure you download the 'Cuse app (Download on IOS or Google Play) to be part of interactive fan opportunities in-game. The light shows prior to the team entrance and between the third and fourth quarter provide ways for fans to involve themselves in the action, plus trivia and more.

• Syracuse will face three of its top-five most frequent opponents this season, including Colgate on Friday.
• The Orange take on the Raiders for the 69th time, which is the third-highest total for any opponent in program history.
• The series between Syracuse and Colgate dates back to the 1891 season.

EMPIRE STATE OF MIND
• Syracuse owns a 76-78-11 (.494) overall record against FBS and FCS members located in the state of New York.
• The Orange have won each of their past 14 contests against opponents from the Empire State. In its current streak against in-state foes, Syracuse has outscored the opposition 618-128.
• The team's last loss against a program from New York came against Army West Point in 1986.

AGAINST THE FCS
• Syracuse is a perfect 22-0 against FCS foes (formerly Division I-AA) since the separation of major college football programs into two divisions in 1978.
• The streak includes 21-straight wins in the Dome.

• Friday's game will be the 69th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Colgate. The Orange own a 32-31-5 lead in the series between the schools.
• The Orange have won the last 17 meetings between the squads, with the Raiders last win coming in 1950.
• Colgate won 10 consecutive games against Syracuse from 1928-37.
• All but four of the games played between the Orange and Raiders have been played in Syracuse.
• The series dates back to 1891, the third season of Syracuse football. The Orange have faced the Raiders 68 times, which is the third-highest total against any opponent in program history.
