SYRACUSE, N.Y.- The Orange (2-1-1) are set to face Duquesne (2-0-1) for the first time in program history on Friday Sept. 5. The match is slated for 7 p.m. and will be held at the SU Soccer Stadium.

'Cuse Update
 Syracuse held off Yale to a 1-0 shutout in New Haven, Conn. Tim Noeding fired a shot from beyond the box in the 42nd minute, resulting in a save from Yale's goalkeeper, but the loose ball set up freshman Landon Darko to score his first collegiate goal.
The Orange defense kept a strong line, holding the Bulldogs to only one shot in the entire 90-minutes of the game.
 Head Coach Ian McIntyre collected his 141st win with Syracuse, tying former head coach Dean Foti for the most in program history.

Scouting the Dukes
Duquesne takes on Syracuse after a 3-0 win at Canisius on Saturday Aug. 30. Two goals from Dakota Jonke and a goal from Roni Badler helped improve the Dukes to a 2-0-1 record this season.
Senior forward Dakota Jonke leads the team with three goals and one assist posted this season. Sophomore forward Roni Badler follows with two goals this season.
Duquesne comes off an 11-4-2 season in 2024. The Dukes' season ended in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Championship to Fordham. In the regular season, Duquesne finished third in the Atlantic 10 conference with a 5-2-1 record.
