Gaunt Named to D100 Freshman Watch List

Infielder Kendall Gaunt was named to the D100 Freshman Watch List by D1Softball on Monday Jan. 5.
The Smithfield, North Carolina native comes from a decorated background of both high school and club team play. Gaunt had a career batting average of .441 as well as a .525 on-base percentage. She accumulated 83 runs and 76 runs batted in with Cleveland High School.
Gaunt was named First Team All-State, All-District and All-Conference for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons, as well as claiming the First-Team All-Conference additionally in 2021-22 and 2022-23.
