
Drabyk Caps Off Freshman Season With AHA Goaltender of the Month Award

SYRACUSE, NY - Syracuse University women's ice hockey team freshman Ava Drabyk has been named the AHA Goaltender of the Month. The Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) announced its monthly awards on Monday evening. The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native earns her first AHA monthly award for her performance between the pipes at the end of the AHA regular season play.
Drabyk recorded a goals-against average of 3.38 in the February regular season games and posted 104 saves in goal for the Orange. The freshman also had a save percentage of .897 percent over the course of the four games.
The other AHA monthly award recipients include RIT's Tilli Keranen (Forward and Rookie) and Penn State's Kendall Butze (Defenseman).
