
Folefac Added to 'Cuse Frontcourt

Francis Folefac, a 6-7, 245-pound forward who was part of an NCAA Tournament team at Siena last season, has accepted a written offer of athletic aid to Syracuse, and will transfer to join the Orange.

Folefac was part of a Maryland Private School State Championship team at Mt. Zion before enrolling and starting as a freshman at Siena in 2025-26. He reunites with Gerry McNamara, his former coach at Siena who is now head of Syracuse's program.

FOLEFAC AT MT. ZION
Mt. Zion captured the 2023 Maryland Private School State Championship, beating Shabach Christian in the title game, 41-36. Folefac was named the 2023-24 All-Metro Private School Conference Defensive Player of the Year, and the Warriors reached the Private School State semifinals. In Folefac's senior year, 2024-25, Mt. Zion was back in the Private School State semifinals and was ranked 24th in the end-of-season SportsCenter NEXT Top-25 Poll. Folefac was named Washington Post Second Team All-Met. Folefac played AAU basketball for Team Melo in the Elite Youth Basketball League.

FOLEFAC AT SIENA (2025-26)
Folefac played in 35 contests, including 26 as a starter, as a freshman. He averaged 11.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. Folefac was picked as the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Rookie of the Week on December 1 and January 12. He was one of four unanimous picks on the 2025-26 MAAC All-Rookie Team.
Siena finished the year 23-12 overall and 13-7 in the MAAC. The Saints won the MAAC Tournament, defeating number one seed Merrimack, 64-54, in the championship game. Siena received a berth in the NCAA Tournament and pushed top-seeded Duke to the final minutes before losing, 71-65.
