Robinson Named to United States 2026 FIFA World Cup Roster

SYRACUSE, N.Y.- Former Orange men's soccer player Miles Robinson was named to the United States Men's National Team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the U.S. Men's National Team announced on Tuesday, May 26.
The defender from Arlington, Mass., was drafted as the second overall pick in the 2017 MLS Super Draft by Atlanta United. In 2024, Robinson signed with FC Cincinnati and has since been called up to the USMNT for international matches, including eight match appearances in 2025. The defender represented the United States in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
For the Orange, Robinson started in all 42 games in his Syracuse career, recording eight goals and one assist through the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Robinson was a key piece of Ian McIntyre's squad that made its first College Cup appearance in 2015. Syracuse eventually returned in 2022, capturing the program's first NCAA Championship in men's soccer.Â
The 2026 FIFA World Cup hosted in North America will begin on June 11. USMNT will compete in Group D with its first match against Paraguay on Friday, June 12 at Los Angeles Stadium in California.
