Fans in the JMA Wireless Dome will have a new option to follow the on-field action this season, as the Syracuse Sports Network from Learfield and Syracuse Athletics have launched 'No Delay Play-by-Play.'
Through the 'Cuse App, fans inside the JMA Wireless Dome can listen to Voice of the Orange Matt Park, analyst Adam Terry and sideline reporter Tim Leonard call the action as it happens on the field from their mobile device, without any delay that fans would experience utilizing any traditional streaming method.
Learfield and Sidearm Sports have partnered with SportsBug to make the technology available for fans inside the Dome. The No Delay Play-by-Play broadcasts will be available for all home broadcast that the Syracuse Sports Network from Learfield produces for football, basketball and men's lacrosse.
Orange fans who utilize this option can stay up to date on in-game news as it develops, listen to the halftime interview with Head Coach Fran Brown and get additional insights on the contest as they watch from their seats. Syracuse is one-of-two schools nationally that is currently offering this option.
On gameday, fans in the building will need to utilize a specific link within the app, but accessing it from the app requires just two clicks:
1. When you open the 'Cuse App on gameday, click 'more' in the bottom right corner of your device.
2. Click 'No Delay Play-by-Play'
Fans should be sure to download or update the 'Cuse Mobile App, available now at the Apple App Store and Google Play before making their way to the Dome on Saturday. The app also features ways for fans to interact and be part of the environment on Gameday.
The Syracuse Sports Network from Learfield is the radio home of Syracuse Football, hosting the Fran Brown Show every Thursday night, live from Meier's Creek, as well as pre and postgame shows in addition to game broadcasts. Games are available on radio stations throughout the state, Cuse.com and the 'Cuse App.
Don't miss the season opener on Saturday, which features new additions to the gameday experience, by securing your tickets today at Cuse.com/FootballTickets.
