Coach Boeheim Quotes

Head Coach Jim Boeheim:
On James Thues' performance:
"James is playing great coming off the bench. He's making smart plays and getting the ball to people. He played a tremendous floor game."
On the team's performance against DePaul:
"We're getting the ball to the people that should get the ball. James is going all the way from one side of the court to the other. Kueth is looking all the way to the other side. Preston is looking. They're finding the right people."
"There was only one time (in the first half) that Preston was open. James got him the ball and he made the three. That's a tribute to how these guys are helping each other and looking for each other."
"We've been very patient on offense. We just have to get some more people ready to play by this weekend."
On Preston Shumpert:
"He made a couple of big-time jump shots in the lane to start the second half, and those were really tough shots."
"He has to work really hard on the defensive end, and he's playing big minutes. He's capable, but it would be nice if a couple of the forwards would step up and play pretty soon to give him a rest."
On Jeremy McNeil:
"Jeremy came up defensively pretty good. He could be a big factor for us if he could find the open spot offensively. He could have a lot of opportunities."
On looking forward to playing in New York:
"We're going to play really good teams, and they're going to play us straight-up hard. It's going to give us more of a look at what we can do."
"The teams from the other side will be top-20 caliber teams, and we need that. It will certainly get our attention."
