In addition, the championship moved from the fall to the spring. A championship was not held in 1994 due to the schedule change. Before the team championship format was implemented, Syracuse had the most Flight A doubles champions (six) and the most total doubles champions from Flights A-C (19) out of all BIG EAST schools.
