Myers hauled in eight interceptions in 1971, a mark that still stands at SU. He had three interceptions in one game, a record he shares with two others. Myers is second in career interceptions at Syracuse with 18 thefts. He was a 1971 All-American. Myers went on to play in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints.
