The Orange won the 1959 Cotton Bowl and claimed the national championship. He was named to Syracuse University's All-Century team in November, 1999.
NFL Draft
Davis played for the Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Rams, and New York Giants in the NFL. He aided fellow all American Ernie Davis in rushing for a total of 883 yards in 1959. Davis led the nation in toal offense in 1959(451.5).
