Opening statement:
“Le Moyne ran a lot of good, real good offensive sets. I thought we did a better job of moving, getting over and defending. We didn’t move the ball as well as I guess we probably can. We had some pretty good opportunities that we didn’t make and we have to shoot the ball better than that. We had some good looks, but I think we can move the ball better than we did against the zone. Still it was a good first step and it’s a busy 18 days coming up. Richmond will be in here Tuesday and they are a very good basketball team and we are going to have to learn from this, so we can play better on Tuesday.”

On using different lineups:
“We are trying to get everybody in there to see who can play together. Sometimes we play bigger, sometimes smaller. Sometimes we just see what unit plays the best together. I think that will vary from game to game, but you know we just have to keep trying things to see how we fit together.”
On playing a Division II school:
“We made some bad turnovers tonight. It doesn’t matter who you are playing and we had some real bad turnovers. We obviously didn’t shoot it well from the 3-point line, which we need to do. We did some real good positive things, but some other things we have to work on. The level of competition will be good from here on out.”
On Jonny Flynn:
“Jonny was good defensively tonight. He made some good steals tonight. I thought he did a good job of picking up and bothering people.”
On the coaching change in the football program:
