AFCA Academic Achievement

   The American Football Coaches Association
Academic Achievement Award recognizes football
programs with the highest graduation rate annually.
    In 1999 Syracuse received the honor after every
member of the class who entered in 1994-95 earned
his degree by 1999.
    The AFCA also presents an honor roll award to
schools with graduation rates of 70% or better.
    Syracuse has earned the Honor Roll award 14
times, including 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1992,
1993, 1994, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002
and 2004.
    Ten of head coach Paul Pasqualoni's 13 teams
have been recognized.
