Varsity Club: About
| Founded in 1934, the Syracuse University Varsity Club is comprised of former student-athletes who played a varsity sport and earned the Athletic Department's S block letter during their career at Syracuse University. All former letterwinners of any varsity sport, including cheerleading, are eligible to participate in this exclusive Club. The Varsity Club will promote, foster and assist in the development of the Syracuse University athletic program, and will initiate and participate in any activity that will promote excellence within the Athletic Department. The Varsity Club supports the goals and objectives of the Syracuse University Athletic Department, which is to ensure that Syracuse University is recognized annually as one of the great athletic institutions in the country, and to be extraordinary in every way; on the field, in the classroom, in the community and in the world.
