Lawrence R. Ellis, Jr., 1947 (Football)
Lawrence R. Ellis, Jr. was an All-East football player at SU in 1947. He played professional football with the Detroit Lions until an injury terminated his career. Ellis is still active in the sport today as a major college official. In 1954, he began his career with Stott & Davis Motor Express, Inc. and in 1962 became its vice president. He is also currently president of Stoda Corporation in Auburn, N.Y.
