Stimson captained the 1907 gridders and serves as an assistant coach the following year. He was associated with Crucible Steel in Syracuse for many years and served as a director of the Varsity Club and Alumni Association. He and Melvin played key roles in getting the IRA championship moved to Onondaga Lake in 1952.
