“They were in the right to win the game. They made winning plays. We turned the ball over six times in the last four minutes that led to nine points.”
Which players did you have to focus on tonight?
“You have to worry about Cooney and Christmas, obviously Gbinije is their third scorer, I thought they played well and we did the best we could with 25 fouls. There weren’t many guys left in uniform (three Virginia Tech players fouled out).”
How do you see the game?
“We lost. We deserved to lose. It’s the fourth one possession game in the last four games and that’s the ninth game that was a one possession game and we are 2-7. I’m not going to back away. It’s my fault. I have to figure out a way to put those guys in better positions. We’re dead last.”
