A native of Oman, Amba came to the United States in 1999. His family settled in Powder Springs, Ga. Amba played three seasons at the University of Maryland and graduated from the school with a bachelor's degree in geographical sciences. He is pursuing a graduate degree in instructional design, development and evaluation at Syracuse.
