2009: Netted a goal in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament vs. Boston College • Scored at Connecticut • Recorded two goals, including the game winner against Massachusetts • Registered a goal versus Old Dominion • Tallied a goal against Ohio State • Continued her timely play with a game-winning tally at New Hampshire • Scored the game-winning goal at Northeastern in the season opener.
2008: Played in all 24 games, starting 23 • Scored a goal in 3-2 overtime win against Princeton in the second round of the NCAA Tournament • Tallied one goal in 16-0 victory at Georgetown • Notched the game-winning goal in 4-2 win at Providence • Scored two goals, including the game winner in 5-1 win versus Delaware • Recorded a hat trick and one assist in 8-3 win at Central Michigan • Had an assist in 5-0 victory versus No. 8 Old Dominion • Named the SU Scholar Athlete of the Week (8/25).
2007: Provided the assist on third goal in the 6-4 win at Colgate • Scored the game-winning goal in 2-1 victory at Dartmouth • Recorded her second career goal in 5-0 win against St. Louis • Registered her third goal in 4-2 victory versus Villanova • Tallied her fourth goal against No. 6 Connecticut • Named to the 2007-08 BIG EAST All-Academic Team • Recognized on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
High School: Four-year varsity player and a three-year starter as a played center and forward • Named the 2007 William Allen Female Athlete of the Year • Selected All-Area Lehigh Valley Interscholastic Athletic Conference (LVIAC) team in field hockey and softball in 2007 • 2007 LVIAC First Team • Was a gold medal winner in the Keystone State Summer Games in both 2004 and 2005 and a Futures regional player in 2005 • District 11 Runner-Up in 2005 and advanced to States, where she helped lead her team to become the top-eight team in the state • Earned a gold medal in the 2003 Field Hockey Festival as part of the Dixie Styx U16 team • Adds varsity softball to her athletic resume where she received 2004 All-Area Morning Call Co-Rookie of the Year and two-time All-Area Morning Call accolades • Softball senior captain.
Personal: Born in July 1989 in Allentown, Pa. • Daughter of Scott and April Schraden • One sister • Majoring in child and family studies.
Ambitions in hockey? I want to win a BIG EAST and National Championship and record more points than I did last season.
Strengths on the field? My speed and energy.
Why did you choose SU? Syracuse was the perfect fit for me; teammates, campus, city and the opportunity to get a great education along with the chance to compete for a National Championship.
