Coaching Accomplishments

In 2014, the tight ends at Air Force contributed to the Falcons offense that ranked in the top 10 nationally in rushing and fewest sacks allowed.

In 2005, coached All-MAC performer Tony Scheffler who played for the Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions during his eight-year NFL career.

As an offensive assistant in 2004, helped coach a Saint Joseph’s offense that set school records in seven different categories.

In 2003, helped lead Elmhurst to a record number of wins and the program’s first winning season in 15 years.

As the tight ends coach for Elmhurst in 2003, mentored a group that helped set 11 offensive school records.

At Western Michigan, coached three Mackey Award semifinalists (Tony Scheffler, Branden Ledbetter, Blake Hammond).

Playing Accomplishments

Four-year starter at tight end at Western Michigan.

Caught passes from SU offensive coordinator Tim Lester.

Set the school record for career passes caught by a tight end (143).

Second in school history in receiving yards (1,414).

Tied for second among tight ends at WMU in career touchdowns (13).
