At SU: Three letters … Member of the Spring 2002, Fall 2004 and Fall 2005 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll … Moved to linebacker from defensive end prior to the start of 2002 spring practice and then to tight end prior to 2002 season … Won the Bill Maxwell Award as the most improved offensive player after spring practice in 2004 … Redshirted in 2001.
Senior Year (2005): Played and started in eight games … Finished the season with 14 receptions for 199 yards and two touchdowns … Against West Virginia, he had one reception for 10 yards … Against Buffalo, he caught one pass for a gain of 11 yards … Against Virginia, he had a career day hauling in a personal-best seven receptions … His 96 yards receiving against UVA were a career-best and gave him more than 300 yards for his career … He did not play at Connecticut or Florida State due to a shoulder separation he suffered against Virginia … Against Rutgers, he had one reception for a gain of 28 yards … At Pittsburgh, he did not play due to injury (bruised knee) … Against Cincinnati, he had one catch for four yards … Against South Florida, he had one catch for nine yards … At Notre Dame, he had three receptions for 34 yards and one touchdown … At Louisville, had one catch for a gain of seven yards, closing his career with an 11-game catch streak that began at Temple in 2004.

Freshman Year (2002): Played in five games as a tight end and on the PAT/FG special teams unit … Had his first career reception for a 14-yard gain against Rhode Island … Also played against Rutgers, Central Florida, Virginia Tech and Boston College … Was on the travel squad for all 12 games.
