Junior Year: He practiced with the Orange but was academically ineligible in 2006-07.
College: Cahak attended Dominican College, a Division II school in Orangeburg, N.Y., before transferring to Syracuse…The Chargers were 12-18 in 2004-05 under Coach Joseph Clinton…He played in 29 games, starting 11…Cahak averaged 5.6 points an 1.9 rebounds an outing…He had 13 points in a 75-59 loss to Holy Family…His 11 points helped the Chargers win in the second pairing with Holy Family, 81-66…Cahak had 10 points off the bench when Dominican lost to Bloomfield, 81-72…He had 10 points and five rebounds less than a week later when the Chargers were defeated by top-seeded Bloomfield, 79-68, in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament…As a freshman, Cahak played in 27 games and started five…He averaged 3.4 points and 2.4 rebounds for the 11-17 Chargers.

High School: He averaged 17 points per game as a senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School…Cahak was also a tight end on Coach Paul Muench’s football squad that finished 9-2.
