Sophomore Year: Set SU single season records in runs (28), home runs (9), runs batted in (27), slugging pct. (559), walks (25) and hit by pitch (4) … Named BIG EAST Player of the Week (3/18/02), becoming the first SU player ever to win the award … Hit SU softball’s first-ever walk-off home run in the bottom of the 14th against Boston College (4/20/02) … Hit a home run in five consecutive games from March 9-15 … Led the team with a .996 fielding percentage (minimum 20 chances), committing one error in 277 chances … Started all 46 games of the season at first base and hitting cleanup … Second-team Verizon Academic All-District I … Named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in the fall.
2001: Started in five games before breaking her foot and redshirting … Hit .200 through those five games, drawing four walks while slugging two doubles … Split the time between designated hitter slot and right field.
