A 2009 Syracuse University softball alum, Lindsay Wasek remainded with the Orange following graduation, signing on as a volunteer assistant in 2010.
During the 2010 season, Wasek helped guide SU to its first BIG EAST Championship and NCAA Regional appearance. Working primarily with the outfielders, she mentored a pair of NFCA All-Region selections in Veronica Grant and Lisaira Daniels.
Wasek was a four-year letterwinner for the Orange, starting 182 games between the infield and outfield. In 2009, Wasek was one of three Syracuse student-athletes to earn All-BIG EAST Third Team honors after ranking second on the team in doubles (7) and triples (3).
The Newton, Pa. native hit .250 or better in three of her four seasons, including a career-best .273 during her senior season.
Wasek graduated from Syracuse with a degree in marketing management in May 2009.
