2005-06: Swam in the 200 medley relay, 200 back, 200 free relay, 100 back, and 100 fly at the Big East Championships ... Won all three of his events against Villanova ... Finished second in the 200 back at Seton Hall ... Took second in the 100 back and third in the 200 back at UConn ... Placed second in the 200 back against West Virginia ... Competed in both the 100 and 200-backstroke at the Yale Nutmeg Invitational ... Took part in six events at the Nike Cup ... Placed second in the 200-backstroke (1:55.69) against Pittsburgh and helped the 400-free relay finish third ... Took second in the 200-back at the Army Invitational as well as the 400-medley relay ... Won the 200-backstroke (1:55.90) against Colgate.
2004-05: Missed the end of the season due to a knee injury...the West Virginia meet on January 15, 2005 was his last competition...posted his fastest times of the season at the Nike Cup...finished second at the Nike Cup in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:48.21, it was the fastest time in that event by an Orange swimmer all season...helped the 800 freestyle relay team to a second-place finish at the Nike Cup with a time of 6:40.24...recorded 11th place finishes in both the 100 butterfly (49.96) and the 100 backstroke (50.17) at the Nike Cup...registered three first-place finishes at the Sonny Werblin Invitational at Rutgers in the 100 backstroke, 400 medley relay, and the 200 backstroke...tallied three first-place times against Colgate in the 400 medley relay, the 200 backstroke, and the 400 freestyle relay.
2003-04: Finished fifth in the 200 backstroke at the BIG EAST Championship with a time of 1:48.76...was a member of the 400 medley relay that came in fifth place with the time of 3:21.06...a member of the 200 freestyle relay that came in sixth place with a time of 1:22.07...recorded the team's fastest 100 backstroke time of the season (50.66) in the BIG EAST Conference prelims...a member of the 200 medley relay team that posted the fastest time of the season (1:28.50) against Colgate...placed first in more than 15 events during regular-season meets.
2002-03: Swam the 100 and 200 backstroke and the 200 individual medley at the BIG EAST Championship...posted season-best times in the 200 IM (1:54.83) and the 100 backstroke (51.16) at the Nike Cup...posted his fastest time in the 200 backstroke at the conference championship (1:51.37)...swam with SU's 800 freestyle relay which placed fifth at the BIG EAST meet (6:44.07)...captured first place in the 200 backstroke in a dual meet against West Virginia...placed first in the 100 freestyle against Villanova.
High School: Three-time All-American...earned honorable mention and first-team accolades in the 100 backstroke and first-team All-America honors in the 50 freestyle...competed for Sandia Prep School and broke every record during the course of his four years...won two state titles and set a New Mexico state record in the 100 backstroke his senior year...went undefeated for three years of high school competition...won a total of five state championships during his high school career...posted personal-best times of 50.60 in the 100 backstroke, 1:49.60 in the 200 backstroke and 51.99 in the 100 butterfly...served as team captain his sophomore, junior and senior years...was a junior national championship qualifier with the Duke City Aquatics club team...three-time MVP of his high school team...earned his school's 2002 Most Valuable Athlete of the Year award.
