Bio
2005-06: Swam in the 200 medley relay, 200 IM, 100 breast, and 400 medley relay at the Big East Championships ... Took first in the 100 breast against Villanova ... Swam in three events st Seton Hall ... Placed second in the 100 breast (1:07.18) and third in the 200 breast at Connecticut ... Swam in three events against West Virginia ... Took second in the 100-breaststroke (1:07.43) and third in the 200-breast (2:27.58) at the Yale Nutmeg Invitational ... Competed in seven events at the Nike Cup ... Against Pittsburgh, she took second (3:56.82) in the 400-medley relay ... Was a member of the 400-medley relay team that took second (3:59.08) in the 400-medley relay at the Army Invitational, while taking third in the 100-breast ... Had two first place finishes against Colgate in the 200-breast (2:26.18) and the 400-medley relay (3:58.75).
2004-05: Won the team's MVP and Rookie of the Year awards...set a Ted Webster Pool record in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.60) against the Syracuse Chargers in early October...earned All-BIG EAST honors in the 100 breaststroke and the 200 breaststroke...won a silver medal in the 200 breaststroke at the 2005 BIG EAST Championship after finishing sixth in the morning prelims...swam the race in a season-best time of 2:18.99 in the evening finals, finishing second to Notre Dame's Jessica Stephens...won a bronze medal at the BIG EAST Championship in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.36...placed sixth in the 200 medley relay (1:47.02), seventh in the 800 freestyle relay (7:37.43) and seventh in the 200 freestyle relay (1:36.70) at the BIG EAST Championship - all top times for the team during the season...swam with the 400 medley relay team that placed seventh with a time of 3:56.25...her top time of the season in the 100 breaststroke was set at the Nike Cup (1:04.31) where she placed 10th...earned a first-place finish at the Nutmeg Invitational in the 200 breaststroke...recorded 12 first-place finishes throughout the year...won all three of her events in a dual meet against Seton Hall.
High School: Four-year member of the swim team at Bolles School...two-time member of the All-American 100 breaststroke team (junior and senior years)...2003 Scholastic All-American...member of the 2003-04 High School National Mythical Championship team...her team won four state championships during her four years...received the O.S. Garies Award for All-Around Athletics.
Personal: Born August 28, 1986 in Jacksonville, Florida...daughter of Diane and Larry Maaske...has one brother…enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
