2005-06: Swam in two relays as well as the 100 free, 50 free, and 100 fly at the Big East Championships ... Finished third in the 100 free and helped the 200 free relay team achieve a first place finish against Villanova ... Placed first in both the 50 and 100 free at Seton Hall ... Finished second in three events at Connecticut ... Placed third in the 100 Free against West Virginia ... Took first in the 100-butterfly at the Yale Nutmeg Invitational ... Posted a team-best time (52.05) in the 100-freestyle at the Nike Cup, while also setting a new school record in the 200-freestyle relay ... Finished second in the 400-medley relay against Pittsburgh, while taking third in both the 50 and 100-freestyle ... Swam to a first place finish in the 100-free at the Army Invitational, while finishing second in four other events ... Took first in the 400-freestyle relay against Colgate, while finishing second in the 400-medley relay and the 100-freestyle.
2004-05: Scored points for the Orange at the BIG EAST Championship in the 100 butterfly (7th place) and the 100 freestyle (16th place)...posted personal-best times in these two events with a time of 52.51 in the 100 freestyle and 56.78 in the 100 butterfly...helped SU's 200 medley relay team to a sixth place finish at the conference meet with a time of 1:47.02...the women's 200 freestyle relay was seventh at BIG EAST's with a time of 1:36.70...swam with the 400 medley relay team at the conference championship which finished seventh with a time of 3:56.25...recorded first-place finishes against Colgate in the 50-yard freestyle (25.20) and 400-yard freestyle relay (3:40.12)...placed first against Connecticut in the 400-yard medley relay (3:54.51) and the 50-yard freestyle (24.57)...registered three other first-place finishes in a dual meet against Seton Hall...BIG EAST Academic All-Star...Athletic Director’s Honor Roll both semesters.
2003-04: Scored points for Syracuse at the BIG EAST Championship in two events...had a season-best time and set a school record as part of the 200 freestyle relay that placed sixth at the conference meet with a time of 1:36.12...helped set a team-best time in the 200 medley relay, placing seventh with a time of 1:47.48...also competed in the 50 freestyle (24.71), the 100 freestyle (53.58) and the 100 butterfly (58.16) at the 2004 BIG EAST Championship...came in fourth place in the 200 freestyle relay at the Sonny Werblin Invitational with a time of 1:41.98...enjoyed first-place finishes at Colgate in the 200 medley relay (1:50.81) and at West Virginia in the 400 freestyle relay (3:38.22)...earned a spot on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll both semesters...named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
2002-03: Recorded a personal-best time of 57.43 in the 100 butterfly at the BIG EAST Championship and a season-best time of 24.42 in the 50 freestyle...contributed in the 200 freestyle relay, 200 medley relay and the 400 freestyle relay at the conference meet...placed second in the 100 butterfly in back-to-back dual meets against Colgate and Loyola...named to the Fall 2002 Athletic Director's Honor Roll...BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
High School: Swam four years at Bainbridge where she helped lead the team to the 2000 state championship...her personal-best time of 57.57 in the 100-yard butterfly was good for a second-place finish at the state championship her junior year...posted a time of 24.26 in the 50-yard freestyle to finish third at states her senior year...earned All-America recognition in the 100 butterfly in 2000 and 2001...the 200 medley relay team she was a part of earned All-American status from 1999-2001...served as team captain as a senior.
Personal: Born January 4, 1984 in Queens, N.Y. ...daughter of Tom and Betty Clune...one sister...her grandfather, Thomas Clune, attended SU in the late 1940's...majoring in political science.
