2005-06: Helped the 800 free relay team post a silver and took the bronze in the 500 free, also swam in the 200 and 400 medley relays, the 200 back, and the 100 back at the Big East Championships ... Won the 200 free and helped win the 200 medley relay against Villanova ... Won all three of his events at Seton Hall ... Won both the 100 and 200 back at Connecticut ... Won the 200 back (1:53.78) and took second in the 200 free against West Virginia ... Turned in three first place finishes at the Yale Nutmeg Invitational in the 200-individual medley (1:55.25), 100-backstroke (51.86) and 200-back (1:51.67) ... Had second place finishes in the 400-IM and 800-free relay at the Nike Cup ... Finished second with the 400-medley relay team against Pittsburgh and third in the 200-free ... Was the top finisher in the 100-back (52.72) and 200-back (1:55.36) at the Army Invitational ... Won the 200-free (1:46.43) and the 400-medley relay (3:31.42) against Colgate.
2004-05: Earned All-BIG EAST honors in the 200 backstroke as he won bronze at the 2005 BIG EAST Championship with a time of 1:48.52...member of the 800 freestyle relay team that won silver and set a school record at the BIG EAST Championship (6:34.79)...also scored points for the Orange at the conference meet in the 500 freestyle (fourth place - 4:30.46) and the 400 individual medley (fifth place - 3:57.65)...finished third in the 200 backstroke at the Nike Cup with a personal-best time of 1:48.43...his top time of the season in the 500 freestyle was set at the Nike Cup (4:29.80) where he placed 10th in the finals...recorded two first-place finishes against Colgate, one against UConn, two against Villanova...posted three first-place times against Seton Hall in the 200 individual medley, 200 backstroke, and the 400 freestyle relay...BIG EAST Academic All-Star...Athletic Director's Honor Roll both semesters.
2003-04: Voted men's team MVP...a BIG EAST Championship point scorer for the Orange...came in 10th place in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:29.94...had the top time for the Orange in the 400 individual medley, finishing fifth at the BIG EAST Championship with a time of 3:58.52...helped the 800 freestyle relay to a fourth-place finish with a time of 6:42.67...also swam with the 400 freestyle relay at the conference meet, coming in seventh place with a time of 3:03.11...posted a strong performance at Colgate with a first-place finish in the 1,000 freestyle (9:59.41) and a second-place effort in the 100 backstroke (54.31)...finished second in the 800 freestyle relay at the Sonny Werblin Invitational...posted one of the top times for the Orange at the Nike Cup, finishing sixth in the 800 freestyle relay with a time of 6:44.16...named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the spring semester.
2002-03: Voted the Orange Rookie of the Year...member of SU's 400-meter medley relay team that placed ninth at the ConocoPhillips National Swimming Championship in Indianapolis with a time of 3:56.91...scored points at the BIG EAST Championship by finishing 13th in the 200 backstroke with a season-best time of 1:50.00...placed 11th in the 200 backstroke at the Nike Cup with a time of 1:50.85...also competed in the 400 IM and the 100 backstroke at the conference meet...helped SU's 800 freestyle relay to a fifth-place finish at the BIG EAST meet...swam with the Orange's 400 freestyle relay at the conference championship...member of the Fall 2002 Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
High School: All-American in the 200 freestyle...set a record and finished second at the state championship in the 200 freestyle (1:42.38) and the 100 butterfly (51.60)...set a record in the 500 freestyle his senior year with a time of 4:42.53...his career best time in the 200 freestyle was 1:41.29...his personal best time in the 100 butterfly was 50.90...also posted career-best times in the 100 freestyle (47.29), the 200 IM (1:56.69), the 400 IM (4:01.34) and the 500 freestyle (4:42.64)...served as team captain his junior and senior years...a member of the 2002 Summer Junior National Championship team, the Rockville Montgomery Swim Club...a four-time all-county performer...earned all-metro honors his junior and senior years...2002 County Swimmer of the Year...team MVP...participated in campus ministry and the Big Brother program.
