Defensive Tackle is the 11th member of the Orange to sign with franchise
Defensive tackle Eric Crume is the newest member 'Cuse to get to the NFL, as he signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday.
Crume, part of a defensive line that combined for 38.5 tackles for loss this season and was one of just four defenses in the nation to allow less than 10 rushing touchdowns on the year, is the most recent defensive lineman to get to the professional ranks after Jay Bromley was selected by the New York Giants in the third round of the draft last season.
A recipient of the Tim Green Award for outstanding defensive linemen this year at the team's banquet, Crume is the 11th member of the Orange to lock on with the Jaguars. Former safety and Pro Bowler Donovin Darius had an eight-year career with the franchise after leaving Syracuse.
In addition to Crume, Sean Hickey signed with the New Orleans Saints and Durell Eskridge joined the New York Jets on Saturday while Dyshawn Davis signed with the Redskins and Cameron Lynch inked a deal with the Rams on Sunday.
Tickets for the 2015 season are available online, by phone (888-DOMETIX), at Destiny USA kiosks and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). In addition, discounted group tickets (20+), with prices as low as $10 each, are available for all home games by calling the Ticket Sales office (443-3212).
