Van Deusen Turns in Strong Showing at the Ncaa Zone 'A' Diving Championship

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Sophomore Julie Van Deusen (Bear, DE) was Syracuse's
lone diver to compete in the NCAA Zone 'A' Diving Championship held at
Navy's Lejeune Hall, March 9-10.
On Friday, Van Deusen finished seventh out of 35 divers in the women's three-meter event. She totalled a score of 421.05. Penn State's Jamie Jaxx won the competition with a score of 509.80.
On Saturday, Van Deusen was ninth on the one-meter board with a score of 232.45.
