Orangemen Try for Third Straight Win Against ECU on Saturday

The Syracuse Orangemen will put their two-game winning streak on the line Saturday when they host East Carolina at 1:30 p.m. at the Carrier Dome. SU will try to avenge last season's 34-17 loss to the Pirates in Greenville, NC.
In addition, many off-the-field activities will take place, including:
- Orange Pack Pride Day: Recognizing Orange Pack support and longevity, award recipients are selected based on many factors, including volunteerism and enthusiasm for SU athletics, season-ticket holder status and game attendance...The 2001 winners are Paul Quattrone, Dr. Leonard Zeldow, Bob and Blanche Sweet, Jon Albanese and Bill Rapp, Sr.
- High School Band Day: The Albion High School Marching Band will perform with the Syracuse University Marching Band at halftime of the Syracuse-East Carolina contest...Prior to having to change the date of the East Carolina game, four area high school bands were scheduled to participate including: Watertown High School, Rome Free Academy, Caledonia-Mumford High School and Albion.
