Pasch-ion Play: Woodcock Makes the League!

The Giants even cut two of their draft picks, one of which was a wide receiver drafted in the fifth round. They also released ex-Orangeman Quinton Spotwood, yet decided to keep his college teammate. Woodcock may never play a down this year, but he's in the same position as first round draft pick Will Allen, and third round selections Morlon Greenwood and Eric Downing. He's getting an NFL paycheck. It may not be as lucrative, but an NFL check is an NFL check. Even if Woodcock isn't activated for a single game, he's in the loop. He's made the National Football League as an undrafted free agent, something every General Manager in the league takes note of.
I admire Pat for making the most of his ability and his situation. Every kid with a dream should take notice. No matter what people may tell you about your size and speed, as long as you believe, sooner or later, others will believe, too. Woodcock had that support from Paul Pasqualoni, and he's got it from Giants General Manager Ernie Accorsi, and head coach Jim Fassel. Pat may not get to play a down this year ? he could also find himself in the starting lineup. I'm not going to count him out. Are you?
