Soccer Teams Earn NSCAA Academic Award

Syracuse University is one of 36 schools to have its men's and women's soccer teams earn the NSCAA Academic Award for the 2000-01 school year.
The award is given to soccer teams that compiled a minimum of a 3.0 grade point average for the 2000-01 academic year and whose coaches are current NSCAA members. The 229 teams considered for the award represent all levels of play, from NCAA Division I to NAIA and junior college.
The awards will be presented at the College Coaches Luncheon at the 2002 NSCAA Convention, to be held on Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Philadelphia Marriott Hotel.
