Crew Results From Head Of The Charles

BOSTON – The Syracuse crew’s championship eight took 33rd place out of 42 crews, and the youth four was 21st of 41 teams at the 38th Head of the Charles Regatta Sunday.
The championship eight, coxed by senior Peter Romano (East Amherst, N.Y./Canisius HS), turned in a time of 15:58.926. The winner of the event, USRowing, rowed the course in 14:53.282.
The Orangemen’s youth four, a crew consisting entirely of freshmen, finished the race in 18:43.151. The Princeton four won the race in a time of 16:32.416.
Syracuse returns to the water on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Head of the Schuylkill in Philadephia.
