
Cross Country To Race At Cornell

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University men’s and women’s cross country teams are gearing up to compete at their last regular season meet before the BIG EAST Championship. The Orangemen and Orangewomen will race at Cornell’s Reif Memorial, Friday, Oct. 25.
Both men’s and women’s races will be 5K, and they will be run on the Big Red’s Moakley Course. Cornell’s Emily Germano holds the women’s course record, 18:36.9, set in 1997. The men’s course record is for 5.1 miles, so it is not applicable to Friday’s meet.
The invitational features teams from Syracuse, Cornell, and Ithaca College. The women’s race is set to begin at 11 a.m., with the men’s race following.
