Karim Leads Canada to 2-0 Win at CONCACAF Tournament

OTTAWA, ONT.- The Canadian Men's Youth Under-20 Team began the CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament Wednesday, November 13, with a 2-0 win over El Salvador.
SU freshman Alim Karim (Scarborough, Ontario/West Hill) earned his first shutout for Canada in International play. Canada's next opponent will be Haiti on Friday, before wrapping up the tournament against USA on Sunday. The two top teams will advance to the FIFA World Youth Championships to be held in the Spring of 2003.
