Syracuse Crew and Rowing to Race on Onondaga Lake

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse University men's crew team and women's rowing team will compete on Onondaga Lake, Saturday, March 30. Racing begins at 8 a.m, with the last race scheduled to start at 9:40 a.m.
The women's team takes on Boston University and Clemson. The Orangewomen return to their home water for the first time since May 5, 2001 when they defeated the University of Massachusetts and Villanova. The Orangewomen's varsity eight is 2-0 this spring, posting victories against the University of Central Florida and the University of Miami.
The Orangemen face Boston University. Syracuse lost at home last week to perennial power Brown. It is the last time that captain Matt Heumann (Burnt Hills, NY/BHBL HS) and fellow seniors Andy Berster (Sarasota, FL/Riverview HS), Jason Bourcier (Greenland, NH/Portmouth HS), Chris Liwski (Sarasota, FL/Riverview HS) and Eric Miller (Syracuse, NY/Henninger) will race competitively for the Orange on Onondaga Lake.
