SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The seventh-ranked Syracuse University women's rowing team races No. 5 Yale and Cornell on the Housatonic River in Derby, Conn., on Saturday, April 6.
Last season the Orangewomen's varsity eight defeated Yale and Cornell on April 7, 2001 on the inlet of the Cayuga Lake in Ithaca, N.Y.
SU is coming off a home win against Boston University and Clemson. The varisty eight lineup remains the same as last week with Erin Gallagher (Upper Darby, Pa./Archbishop Pendergast HS) serving as the coxswain and two-time first-team All-American Jillian Kott (Round Hill, Va./Kent School) is the stroke.
