Evans Named SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Sophomore Jeff Evans of the men's soccer team has been named an SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 20.
Evans is a two-time member of the SU Athletic Director's Honor Roll, and was a BIG EAST Academic All-Star in 2002. This season, Evans has started 13-of-14 games for the Orange. He ranks fourth on the team in scoring with two goals.
Evans and the Orangemen host Connecticut in a BIG EAST tilt on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 1:00 p.m., at the Syracuse Soccer Stadium.
