VERNON, Conn. – Syracuse senior defender Chris Aloisi was named to the All-BIG EAST Third Team by the league's coaches. It is the second consecutive season Aloisi has earned third-team all-conference honors.
Aloisi started 16 games for the Orangemen, helping the squad record five shutouts. He took seven shots on the season. The fifth-year senior was only the second player in Syracuse history to be named team captain three times (John McCallion).
For his career, Aloisi scored four goals and had four assists. In addition to his All-BIG EAST honor last season, he was also named first-team All-New York Region. He has earned first- or second-team all-region honors three times.
The Orangemen finished their 2003 season with a 4-8-5 overall mark and a 1-5-4 BIG EAST record.
