Thomas Named SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Senior Josh Thomas, a defensive end on the Orangemen football team, has been named the Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 3.
Thomas was selected to the 2001 and 2002 Verizon/CoSIDA Academic All-District I Football Team. He is a two-time BIG EAST Academic All-Star, and a member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll all six of his semesters.
Thomas and the Orangemen host Temple in a BIG EAST contest on Saturday, Nov. 8 in the Carrier Dome.
